EFA Includes Two More Films in Feature Film Selection

The EFA Board has decided to add two more films to the EFA Feature Film Selection, the list of
feature-length fiction films recommended to the EFA Members for a nomination for the European Film Awards 2019. In doing so, the EFA Board makes use of its right, “to include outstanding films which premiered between June 2019 and September 2019.” (EFA Regulations)

Based on the EFA Feature Film Selection of now 48 films (46 films have already been announced in August), in the coming weeks, the over 3,600 members of the European Film Academy will vote for the nominations in the categories European Film, Director, Actor, Actress and Screenwriter. The nominations will then be announced on 9 November at the Seville European Film Festival in Spain.

An 8-member jury will decide on the awards recipients in the categories European Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Costume Design, Hair & Make-up, Original Score, Sound and Visual Effects.

The 32nd European Film Awards with the presentation of the winners will take place on 7 December in Berlin.
