The Molina family live in poor surroundings of Boca Juniors, a famous football stadium in Buenos Aires. The family members earn their living selling fake tickets for football matches, which is why they often come into conflict with the law. The elder of their family observes their illegal dealings with anxiety and she is trying hard to give their home the appearance of normality. Unfortunately, a tragedy is inevitable.

The festival's international short film jury was made up of Agnieszka Smoczynska (director, Poland), Mario Micaelo (visual arts teacher & co-founder of Curtas Vila do Conde IFF, Portugal), Géza M. Tóth (director, producer & screenwriter, Hungary), Álvaro Yebra (distributor/programmer, Spain) and Giedrė Žickytė (director/producer, Lithuania).

The film is now nominated for the award 'European Short Film 2017'.

The EFA short film programme is organised by the European Film Academy in co-operation with a series of film festivals throughout Europe. At each of these festivals, an independent jury presents one of the European short films in competition with a nomination in the short film category of the European Film Awards.

The next nomination for 2017 will be presented in co-operation with the Curtas Vila do Conde - International Film Festival in Portugal.

When the annual cycle is completed, the nominees will be presented to the over 3,200 members of the European Film Academy and it is they who will elect the overall winner: the European Short Film 2017 which will be presented at the 30th European Film Awards Ceremony on 9 December in Berlin.
