European Film Awards 2026: The nominees in the Arts & Crafts categories!
Today, the European Film Academy has revealed the nominees in eight categories honouring the diverse crafts of filmmaking. Following the introduction of member chapters for each department this year, chapter members selected three nominations per category. All Academy members will now vote to determine the winners, who will be announced at the European Film Awards ceremony on 17 January 2026 at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, Germany.

The nominations are based on votes from members of the European Film Academy in the respective chapters, who have viewed all films included in the Feature Film Selection, and the Academy members will now vote to determine the winners as part of the awarding procedure.

The “Academy Shortlist” is based on the Diversity & Inclusion Standards of the European Film Academy.
The ceremony of the European Film Awards – the most renowned and prestigious award for European film – is presented by the European Film Academy and European Film Academy Productions gGmbH and takes place on 17 January 2026 at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, Germany.
