Cinema Kameralne Cafe in Gdańsk unites passion for the cinema with a cozy café atmosphere.
The cinema is located in the historic city centre, in the same place where the cult Neptun Cinema (formerly Leningrad) existed in 1953-2015, and before that from 1939 Tobis Palast Cinema.
In an old cellar with original ceilings and restored armchairs from Neptun Cinema, it offers viewers a carefully selected film repertoire, including both the classics of world cinema and the latest independent productions.
You can get aromatic coffee, tea, and homemade cake in the café and take it with you to the screening.
In addition to regular screenings, place focuses on organizing special events, such as meetings with filmmakers, which attracts cinema enthusiasts from the entire region. It’s a great place to talk about the movies and to integrate with the local community. Cinema Kameralne Cafe is a member of the Polish Associaton of Arthouse Cinemas and Europa Cinemas.
Cinema Kameralne Cafe is also a space for film education. Workshops for students and other educational initiatives are organized here to promote film culture among young generations.
