    Audience Development & Digital Marketing Co-ordinator

    Reporting to: Head of Communication and Marketing | General Management
    Working languages: English (knowledge of other European languages including German welcome)

    Purpose of the post
    The freelancer will work with the European Film Academy on implementing new outreach and audience growth strategies, with the aim to increase the digital impact of the work the Academy does, predominantly in European countries, and beyond. This is part of the Academy’s new positioning as a central and key player in promoting European film to general audiences, including young audiences, as well as registered members of the Academy.

    Since 2021, the European Film Academy finds itself in a huge transformation process in a quickly changing film industry that has brought new opportunities and challenges alike. To increase its impact and reach, the Academy starts building audiences beyond its traditional business to business peer groups. As part of the Marketing and Communication team,   the Audience Development, Community Building and Digital Marketing Co-ordinator will play a pivotal role in activating audiences and making our work not only more visible and attractive, but also relevant to wider peer groups. Your role will be key in achieving these aims.

    About us
    The European Film Academy seeks to support and connect its members and celebrates and promotes their work. Its aims are to share knowledge and educate audiences of all ages about European cinema. Positioning itself as a leading organisation and facilitating crucial debates within the industry, the Academy strives to unite everyone who loves European film.

    Our headquarters are based in Berlin, but our team consists also of people working in various other European cities. For this position, living and working as part of our Berlin-based team is preferred. The European Film Academy is actively working on diversifying its team and wishes to include new colleagues regardless of their gender, socio-economic background, nationality, race, age, sexual orientation or disability.
