THE PEARCE SISTERS Wins Prix UIP Tampere

The European Film Academy (EFA), United International Pictures (UIP) and the Tampere Film Festival congratulate the winner of the

Prix UIP Tampere 2008
THE PEARCE SISTERS by Luis Cook
UK 2007, 10 min, animation

THE PEARCE SISTERS is a tale of love, loneliness, guts, gore, nudity, violence, smoking and cups of tea.

The statement of the international jury describes the film as

“An intelligent and wonderfully animated black comedy. Failing in their quest for human contact, the sisters resort to macabre means to socialize. In a grotesque way, this film is both touching and entertaining.”
